Aluminium is a sustainable material which is very suitable to be used in many interior applications. It is lightweight, sustainable, easy formable, recyclable, non-corrosive and is available in endless colours, designs and textures. The decorcoated and digitally printed portfolio of Freebird is 100% environmental friendly and is manufactured according to the most recent environmental regulations in our industry.
Freebird is specialized in decorcoating and digitally printing of aluminium coils for exterior -and interior applications.
Interior
Because of the low weight and formability, aluminium is often used in ceilings. This can be in various systems, such as linear, open cell or tile. Within these systems, many variations are possible, which makes practically any architectural design possible.
The aluminium can be decorpainted and look like wood, natural stone or other natural materials, but also any imagineable design can be digitally printed. All materials are suitable for exterior applications because we apply an additional clearcoat containing UV-blockers.Our aluminium can be supplied in coils, which enables efficient rollforming or lamination. Fabrication with a press-brake is also an option. Ceiling with FDD in a 3-D effect
Interior
Freebird aluminium is very suitable for interior cladding such as bathroom-walls, backsplash in kitchens, cladding of reception desks, decorative/functional interior walls of public buildings etc.
